Planting of saplings at Trimbakeshwar

Sri M, Dr. Rajendra Singh, Smt. Shreya Deochakke, Trimbak CO, Shri Narendra Chugh and Shri Bapu Kulkarni of Jal Biradari launched the plantation of 200 saplings in Trimbak town as part of the Aviral Godavari Mission on 3rd October 2023. The Aviral Godavari Mission envisages the rejuvenation of River Godavari at its source in the Brahmagiri Mountain through the restoration of the ancient kunds that feed it; tree plantation to prevent soil erosion and to encourage recharge of ground water; and a massive cleaning effort to ensure that the riverbanks and the water is free of plastic and other waste. The Trimbak authorities have committed to protect and nurture the saplings.
