A group of Yoga enthusiasts associated came together to celebrate the first International'Yoga Day'in Bengaluru, under the shade of an expansive tree in Freedom Park, Bengaluru on 21st June 2015. 8.00 a.m. saw them all congregating with their yoga mats. Under the able guidance of Dr. Aditya Varma, the session started with the chanting of the Guru Mantra and went through the sequence of asanas - stretching and tightening, a short 20-minute capsule of exercises prescribed by Sri M for general well-being. With the intervention of the rain gods, the group found shelter in a building nearby and the session continued. After a set of surya namaskaras, the group relaxed into shavasana, chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, meditation and then chanting of the shanti mantras. A plan to have these sessions on a regular basis is on the anvil.  Please get in touch with Dr. Aditya Varma  (+ 91 98450 61046) / Satyen Kamath (+ 91 98805 46360)  / Sumathi Mohan (+ 91  98443 07580) for details.
