When you enter the meditation hall, leave your shoes outside along with your ego; don’t bring it in. Go inside like a new-born child who is free, you have no enemies, you don’t hate anybody, at least for the time being. This is easier said than done but it’s the easiest way to bring about a completely tranquil and deep meditative mind.
