Sri-M-20In ‘Grahastha’, when your responsibilities are wound up and the children have become self-reliant, you are free to spend time in retirement in a quiet place, free from the troubles of everyday phone calls and so on, contemplating and trying to go deeper into the knowledge that you have acquired during the ‘Brahmacharya’ and ‘Grahastha’ phases. This retirement phase is called ‘Vanaprastha’.
