When a person is on the spiritual journey, he should not cry over what he loses. What he loses may be the stepping-stone to what he is going to gain, which is communion with the Supreme Being. This is what we should keep in mind. Not that we should throw things away. But, in spite of all our efforts, if something is lost, it is probably the right thing to happen. Its intention is to help mature your mind and move it to higher levels of consciousness.
