From ancient times, meditation has been defined as one-pointedness. One-pointedness means the mind is not allowed to be scattered around or dissipate in different directions, rather it is brought to one point.In fact, if you can learn the art of being one-pointed, whether in meditation or in day-to-day life, then you are in a meditative state all the time. If you are one pointed in your day-to-day life, then it is easy to be one-pointed when you sit down to meditate.
