If you have an old building and you want to put up a new structure there, what do you do first?  You demolish all that is old and constructed, all that is artificial, so that the new comes up. From the Yogi’s point of view or from a spiritual aspirant‘s point of view, every day is a tandava, because without breaking the old images we cannot see anything new.
