To practice Yoga and to make your mind quiet, calm and without ripples, you should live a life of moderation. Don’t go to extremes. If you completely don’t eat food, you can’t meditate. And if you eat too much food, instead of Samadhi you get into Sushupti. So, moderation is essential in food, work, exercise and entertainment.
