Suppose, in deep sleep, in the heavenly state of bliss, the mind wakes up as a witness and sees it. Normally it doesn’t. It remembers when you wake up. Suppose there is awareness of deep sleep. Then this becomes Turiya. Unfortunately you cannot define Turiya by deep sleep.
