The root of sadness is that we are not complete, that we are missing something. We feel empty, we feel rejected, therefore we feel dejected. We feel loss of trust all around. We thought ‘this is life’ and we find that it is not. We think that if we do this, this and this I’ll be happy; I did it, but I’m not happy. There are multiple reasons why we feel sad, but the feeling of sadness is common to all human beings.
