Most traditions talk about the ‘Energy’ being raised – it has to be raised from the lower Chakras to the higher. Chakra means a ‘Centre’ – a field of Force. You cannot find a chakra or a lotus – padma, if you were to dissect a body. It is merely a field in which a certain Force operates.
