MyTree-Hubli-7The Satsang Foundation volunteers, along with the active and enthusiastic participation of the local community, participated in Manav Ekta Mission's MyTree Project in Hubli on July O2, 2016. Manav Ekta Mission, founded by Sri M, advocates the oneness of humanity. One of the mission’s objectives is Sustainable living. My Tree (inspired by the Sanskrit word Maitri) meaning amity, is an initiative to promote amity or a natural alliance between humans and their surroundings. By encouraging individual or community-led partnership programs to plant trees, the My Tree initiative hopes to establish a better sustainable living with nature. Satsang Foundation volunteers planted 125 trees across the following three locations in Hubli: Jakkali Layout Park, Keshwapur , Paraswaadi 2nd Stage Park, Keshwapur Vinay colony/Banashankari Layout Park, Keshwapur

Jackfruit – 15 Champa – 15 Banyan – 5 Jamun – 15 Cherry – 15 Cashew – 5 Neem – 10 Wild Almond – 10 Bangali -15 Tabebuia Aurea – 10 Yellow Blossom – 10 25 volunteers participated in the initiative. They plan to do the same during the weekends across the coming weeks.
