MyTree Project | ‘Manav Ekta Circle for Human Oneness’ – Group Planting Initiative at Thrissur, Kerala

The Thrissur Chapter of the Manav Ekta Mission’s MyTree initiative is organizing a group planting on 7 September 2016 at Vilangankunnu, Thrissur. Called the ‘Manav Ekta Circle for Human Oneness’, the initiative will feature a group planting of saplings by 86 prominent social, cultural and religious leaders, along with Sri M. When : 7 September 2016 at 1600 hrs Where : Vilangankunnu, Thrissur, Kerala The 87 varied species of saplings to be planted are suitable to the local ecosystem and will be placed in a circular shape to be called the Manav Ekta Circle. The thought behind this to welcome people, of all communities and beliefs, to come together at this point, shedding their outwardly differences. This unique approach will eventually evolve the Manav Ekta Circle to a Sustainable Central Point of Oneness (SCPO) – spreading the message of peace and harmony, and influencing minds to create a united front against all divisive undercurrents. Vilangankunnu has been identified as the ideal spot for the planting, as the ownership will remain with the government, which represents all people of the state.

We invite you all to participate in the MyTree public function at Vilangankunnu, Thrissur on 7 September 2016, and initiate the MyTree activity by planting a tree. The MyTree initiative can only succeed with your personal as well as official involvement, wherein long-term maintenance of the planted trees assumes top priority. 1600 hrs - Lighting the Lamp by Sri M 1610 – 1630 hrs: Sri M, along with 66 prominent citizens, plants 67 saplings to form the ‘Human Oneness Circle’ 1630 – 1715 hrs: Soul music, Bamboo Symphony by Shri Unnikrishna Pakkanar 17:30 – 1800 hrs: Address by Sri M 1800 hrs - National Anthem Please be seated by 1550 hrs.
