Unveiling Yogadham
As the MahaKumbh 2025 is set to unfold from 13 January to 26 February at Yogadham, Sri M’s akhada, a panorama of events have been planned for seekers and devotees as they come together to participate in the largest spiritual congregation on Earth.Dhwaja Stambh Sthapanam
Sri M will inaugurate Yogadham with the installation of the Stambha or pillar bearing the Dhwaj ushering in a mandala of festivities. The fluttering flag will unite us in the spirit of the Rig Vedic mantra “Sangachhadhwam samvadadhwam samvo manaansi jaanataam” - May we move together; study together; with our minds put together, may we understand.Shibir with Sri M
Discourses by Sri M, satsangs, and dharana sessions will form the crux of three Shibirs or Retreats with Sri M, leading registered participants to a deeper exploration of their personal sadhana. Commencing with the Sankranti Shibir from 13 - 17 January, mantra chanting, yogasanas, pranayama, bhajans, and opportunities for seva will create a tranquil atmosphere conducive to contemplation and meditation. During the Triveni Shibir slated for 27 - 31 January, Sri M will impart discourses on Yoga Darshana and Ashtanga Yoga. In the concluding retreat, Sri M will expound the teachings of the Yoga Vasishta from 16 - 26 February, imparting the teachings of Sage Vasishta to Lord Rama on the quest for Mukti - liberation through self-effort and meditation. Satsangs will be streamed live on The Satsang Foundation Youtube channel.Mauni Amavasya
A day of silence will be observed on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya on 29 January. While practicing silence is one of the universally-recognized pathways to inner peace, doing so amidst the vibrant energy of the MahaKumbh, with its teeming millions and the radiant presence of saints, carries an extraordinary significance. Like the calm in the eye of a storm, this collective silence aims to center our energies, helping us realize and embody the Poornata (completeness) that the Kumbh symbolizes.Ganga Aarti
An enthralling celebration of the sacred River Ganga at the Triveni - the confluence of the three sacred rivers - Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati - will be witnessed with the performance of the Ganga Aarti every evening by priests dressed in traditional attire and chanting Vedic mantras as they gracefully move their brass lamps in all directions, seeking the blessings of the Divine Mother on all.Daily Yoga Sessions
Our hall is now ready for you to step into a sacred rhythm of sadhana for your body, mind, and soul. Each morning at 6:00 a.m., we begin with group mantra chanting and silent meditation, followed by energizing asana and pranayama practices. It’s a beautiful way to ground yourself and connect deeply with your inner self and the energy of the Kumbh.Yoga Retreats
