Launch of Malayalam translation of Shunya

You are warmly invited to the Book Launch of the Malayalam translation of Sri M's book, 'Shunya’ (by Eka, an imprint of Westland), on 10 November 2019 at BTH Hotel, Durbar Hall Road, Ernakulam from 10.30 am onwards. The book will be released by Madampu Kunjukuttan & Subhash Chandran. The author will be in conversation with Prema Jayakumar.

About the event dignitaries

Subhash Chandran (born 1972) is a Malayalam novelist, short story writer and journalist best known for the 2010 novel Manushyanu Oru Aamukham. He is one of the most read young writers in contemporary Malayalam literature. He is the only writer to get Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for both his debut story collection (2001) and debut novel (2011). Madampu Sankaran Namboothiri, popularly known as Madampu Kunjukuttan, is a renowned Malayalam author and a screenplay writer. He was born in 1941 in Kiralur, a small village in Thrissur district, in the Indian state of Kerala. He is one of the most prolific and versatile writers in modern Malayalam literature. Prema Jayakumar is an author and columnist and enjoys being the link between Malayalam and English. She has translated a number of Malayalam novels into English and vice versa, published by eminent publishing houses and the Sahitya Akademi.
